Green technology
Aluminium is by far the most important raw material for our profiles. Aluminium is 100% recyclable without any loss of its natural qualities. Aluminium is the most abundant metal in the Earth's crust, and the third most abundant element, after oxygen and silicon. It makes up about 8% by weight of the Earth's solid surface. Aluminium is too reactive chemically to occur in nature as a free metal. Instead, it is found combined in over 270 different minerals. Aluminium is remarkable for the metal's low density and for its ability to resist corrosion due to the phenomenon of passivation.
Our designs of the extrusion profiles are weight optimised and the surface treatment allows extended product lifetime. We have invested in three worldwide warehouses and our business partners all keep local minimum stocks, which significantly optimises transport distances.
Our systems are modular by design, as to optimize waste efficiency in production. Aluminium can be recycled over and over again without quality loss.
